Antique Victorian Eastlake Style Shoe Shine Box

Item Details

An antique Victorian Eastlake style wooden shoe shine box. Made of oak, the box features a hinged top that is upholstered in a needlepoint with an image of a house surrounded by trees. Under the hinged top is a space with cast iron shoe rest and wooden brush inside. The lower portion of the box has carved images of flowers and berries on each side. A single cabinet with round wooden knob is located at the center of the box below. The box is unmarked.
