A large offset lithograph reproduction of a portrait by Canadian artist Philip Boileau (1863-1917). Boileau was well known for his talent of painting upper-class noblewomen. This painting depicts a young lady in a revealing sheer black dress and a large black hat. She gazes slyly towards the viewer. The print is unsigned. It is double-matted in very pale pink and blue, and is presented behind glass in a modern marbled gold-tone frame with a piped border. A wire is attached to the verso of the piece for hanging.
