An offset lithograph reproduction of a 1987 watercolor painting by contemporary Californian artist Tracy Taylor, titled Tropical Fish. The painting depicts a few soft seaweed plants interwoven between a large group of colorful tropical fish. Taylor’s watercolor technique is very unique; she uses soft washes of sprawling colors that end abruptly, beautifully juxtaposing freedom and control. The print is signed and dated in-plate near the left edge. The artist’s name is printed in blue at the base of the image. It is matted in baby blue and presented behind non-glare glass in a wooden frame with pickled finish. A wire is attached to the verso of the piece for hanging.
