Item Details

An antique Lakeside upright piano by Cable-Nelson Piano Co., serial number 61226. Based on the serial number, this piano was built in 1910. It is made of solid wood and encased in a burled walnut veneer. The top of the piano lifts up to expose the mechanics of the piece and is labeled ‘Lakeside MFD By Cable-Nelson Piano Co. Chicago’ on the inside and to the front. The piece has a built-in music stand and a pull key cover. The piano bench has a covered vinyl seat that lifts to expose storage. Included is a loose piece of fabric with a leopard design for the bench. The bench sits on an H stretcher connecting the four ridged legs. Also included are instructional piano books.

Condition

Has some minor scratches consistent with age and use. The piano bench is covered in vinyl with a piece of fabric covering the top. One of the foot pedals stays all the way down. The pull down key cover is missing a knob.
