Item Details
An American Wringer antique clothes dryer. The collapsible wooden clothes dryer rack features several wooden arms that fan out from a cast metal bracket, which is attached to a board with drilled holes for attaching the unit to a wall. The board is marked ‘No. 2 Horse-shoe Brand Clothes Wringers – Every One Warranted’ and ‘Made by The American Wringer Co. 99 Chambers St. New York, U.S.A.’ along with ‘Empire Clothes Dryer’, and a black horseshoe logo with the copyright symbol and the letters AW.
Condition
Not tested. Small chips to the wood, consistent with age and normal use.
