An antique tin lithograph sign by Shapleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis, MO. This sign features Shapleigh’s slogan ‘Diamond Edge is a Quality Pledge’, and the main body of text reads, ‘For when the One Great Scorer comes to write against your name he writes—not that you won or lost—but how you played the game’. Features Shapleigh Hardware logos in all four corners and the business name on bottom. On the cardboard back, care instructions read ‘To keep this sign clean and bright wipe the surface of it every thirty days with a damp cloth’.
