An exquisite late 19th century, Qing, lady’s traditional Chinese hair ornament tiara, with Kingfisher feathers, seed pearls and glass stones. A gorgeous piece, arranged as a row of seven figural Kingfisher birds, in filigree metal, set with brilliant blue Kingfisher feathers, their backs adorned with seed pearls and glass stones. A pendant hangs from the head of each, also with seed pearls, and with blue, yellow and pink glass stones.

Condition

Some bead dangles appear to be missing; unknown whether this piece is complete.
