Item Details

A collection of Civil War era New York Seal uniform brass buttons. They are domed and feature a high relief of a variation of the New York state seal with eleven stars across the top and ‘Excelsior’ to the bottom. The majority of buttons were manufactured by Waterbury. There are two different sizes; the largest measures approximately 22mm and the smallest 15mm.
