R L Walker Mid-Century Painting

A whimsical mid-century original painting in mixed media on canvas by Cincinnati artist RL Walker, titled Cat’s Dilema. The painting illustrates in bold line a cat and bird with rough texture applied to include clear beads and old flat nails. The painting is signed by the artist in the lower right and is framed simply in the original black molding. RL Walker owned several galleries in the downtown Cincinnati area and was an artist in his own right. The abstract painting creates conversation in reference to who sees the cat and where, as intended by the artist.

Condition

Overall the painting is in good condition, there are two very small cracks in the paint.
