A collection of World War II era German Tinnies. The group includes three pins distributed by the Winterhilfswerk or WHW, an annual charitable drive during the winter months between 1933-1945. The tinnies include two combat axe pins with white and purple half stones marked ‘042’ and a pin with a metal exterior and a woven image of a horse with ‘Westfallen’ above it and ‘WHW’ along the border.
