Brass Figure of the Winged Lion of St. Mark
Item Details
A brass figure depicting the winged Lion of St. Mark. He is a symbol for St. Mark and his prophetical visions from the biblical Book of Revelations, and a symbol for the city of Venice, Italy. The lion has his face turned sideways with his front paw on top of an open book. He stands on a plinth with decorative leaves around the rim. No marks to indicate a manufacturer.
