20th Century Chinese Roof Tile Figure

Item Details

A 20th century Chinese ceramic roof tile figure, circa 1920s. It features a warrior in a ancient garb on the back of a qilin (half-dragon, half-horse). They are both glazed with colors such as: mustard yellow, pink-red, black, teal green, and ivory. To the verso is a cement filled hole with a wire, for hanging, strung through.
