Signed Limited Edition Color Etching 'Koalas' Mary Ann Lis
Item Details
A large landscape view of a family of koala bears in the Australian bush, this colored etching is the work of Mary Ann Lis (born 1941). The subtle process of this medium suggests the softness of the animals coats, and conveys some of the tenderness of the baby clinging to its mother. Presented in a beautiful wood frame with a mahogany or eucalyptus figuring and caved floral flourishes to each side, the image is surrounded by a large sage green mat with beveled details, and offered under glass. Numbered 382/500 and signed in pencil to lower right margin.
Condition
Frame shows light wear consistent with age and use.
