Ethan Allen Pine Pie Safe

Item Details

An Ethan Allen pine pie safe from their ‘New Country’ line of furniture. The cabinet features double doors with six punched tin panels in a floral design and two small drawers above. The two doors open to reveal a large inner cabinet with three shelves. Pie safes were at one time used for storing freshly baked pies after they got out of the oven and the perforated tin panels helped cool them down by allowing airflow into the cabinet.
