A Stewart-Warner radio in a walnut console with 1931 advertisement. This Stewart-Warner radio is housed in a Tudor Console walnut cabinet with original wiring and power cord with radio tubes in the back. Stewart-Warner R-104-A Receiver, 301-A Short Wave Converter, serial number 15988. The stately Tudor Console features built-in speaker and front dials. Accompanied by a framed and matted 1931 Saturday Evening Post advertisement featuring the Tudor Console and the 301-A short wave converter, which allowed listeners to hear foreign and domestic short wave broadcasts in addition to standard domestic stations.
Condition
Radio has been tested; powered on and played an AM broadcast station. A few minor scratches to wood cabinet surface.
