Lane Cedar Chest
Item Details
A lane cedar chest. The chest is constructed of cedar wood with a square hinged top lid. The chest features a false front with a key lock you press to open the lid of chest, and the catch has been removed for the lock. Inside the chest attached to the lid is a divided shelf with green felt lining. The trunk is supported on four square feet. The lid of the chest is marked inside ‘Lane AltaVista, Virginia,’ bottom of trunk is marked ‘Style No. 1975-82 Serial No. 565180.’
Condition
The catch for the lock has been removed. Top of chest has scratches, scuff marks and dings on top back edge. Body of the trunk has light scratches and scuff marks.

Measurement given is exterior of trunk. Interior measures approximately 40 inches w x 12 inches h x 14 inches d.
