A retired Lladró figurine. This piece, no. 5160, was originally titled ‘Negrita Rumba’ and later changed to ‘Rhumba,’ and is part of the Lladró Black Legacy Collection. It depicts a small black girl with a bow in her hair and ruffled pantaloons, sitting on a stool with her arms above her head as if she’s dancing. It is marked ‘Lladró Handmade in Spain’ in blue and imprinted ‘5160,’ both to the bottom. It was designed by José Roig, issued in 1982 and retired in 1998. The original box is present. The figure stands approximately 9’ tall.
Condition
Box is slightly worn from age.
