A circa 1950s Polynesian water carrier by Gonder Ceramic Arts. The avocado green high gloss figure features a male water carrier in a draped cloth holding a yoke with two attached buckets and a foliate base. Mould #762/763 and originally came in a pair with a female carrier. Marked to verso.

Condition

- one bucket has been broken and repaired. Discoloration to strings on buckets.
