An antique 1853 bronze ‘Lucky Penny’ paperweight from the Crane and Breed Manufacturing Company, of Cincinnati, Ohio. The front side of paperweight depicts an ‘Indian Head’ silhouette to relief with the words ‘Lucky Penny 1853’ to the outside. Obverse side reads ‘Crane & Breed Wish You Good Luck, This Year and Ever After’. The Crane & Breed Company manufactured patented metallic burial caskets as well as well various cookware, hollow ware, et al. See link below for additional information on Crand & Breed.
