A collection of twenty-five 1960s and early 1970s era election buttons, featuring Nixon and Kennedy. The Nixon campaign buttons span several presidential runs, with varying slogans. Includes a crisp holographic 1960 Nixon-Lodge election pin, interchanging between Richard Nixon’s image and Henry Cabot Lodge’s image. Also includes a President Ford pin, ‘4 LBJ’ Lyndon Johnson button, Eugene McCarthy button, Stuart Symington 1960 election button, Robert Byrd election button, and a Luther Hodges U.S. Senate election button. Three American flag lapel pins are also contained in the lot, with a 1972 Generation of Peace Richard Nixon campaign stamp. Comes in a small display case with removable lid, presented under glass.

Condition

- condition consistent with age and use. Buttons are in various conditions but are in generally good to moderate condition. Symington button is buckled, some dark marks over holographic Nixon-Lodge button. Display case shows little wear, glass casing needs cleaning.
