Clocks Decor

Item Details

An antique Fashion mantel clock, manufactured by Seth Thomas and sold by the Southern Calendar Clock Company of St. Louis Missouri. The cabinet of the clock is walnut and features a single pane glass door with Fashion written in gilt writing. The top features three turned finials. The top face reads patented December 28th, 1875. The top face has a white ground with black roman numerals and black hands and a second face with a black hand. The bottom face is marked patented March 18th, 1879 and is a calendar and has a spot for the day and month. The key is not present. This clock matches item 16LEX014-123.

The key from item 16LEX014-123 was used to test and the clock works, but no further testing was done to determine its time keeping ability.

Condition

The bottom calendar face has a large amount of finish loss toward the bottom. There is a crack in the back of the clock.
