Item Details
An 1898 Waltham sterling silver railroad pocket watch, comprised of an open dial with a sterling silver case, double cover back, hinged bale and lobed crown. The dial features arabic numbers for the hour, minute and second hands. The case is marked ’Fahy’s, 925/1000 Fine, 5882963’ and the clock parts serial number is 8858229. Model 1892 and has 17 jewels.
Condition
- denting and scratches to case. The clock was running at the time of cataloging, but its timekeeping function could not be determined at the time of cataloging.
