A watercolor print by Barbara Lavallee. A native Iowan living in Juneau, Alaska, Ms. Lavallee is a well-known artist and children’s book illustrater. The painting features a whimsical herd of five colorful yaks standing in a snow-covered landscape. The artist’s signature appears in the print at middle right, along with the copyright date ‘82. The title of the work, along with the artist’s signature in pencil, and the date October 1, 1982, appears at the bottom of the painting. Presented under glass in sky-blue matt a simple, dark wood frame.
