Edward Wormley for Drexel "Precedent" Dining Table and Chairs
Item Details
A mid-century dining table and six chair set by Edward Wormley for Drexel. This golden finished elm and beech wood set was part of the company’s Precedent line. The oval table has two additional 12’ leaves which lend several sizing options. There are five side chairs and one armchair with an avocado green woven fabric upholstered to the backs and seats. A china cabinet from the same line in lot 16CIN050-028 and sideboard in 16CIN050-027.
Condition
Table is good vintage condition but leaves have areas of noticeable scratches and appear slightly different in color due to naturally occurring deviation in wood. A ding is present to one corner of table. Chairs also in good condition but upholstery needs cleaning from accumulated dust.
Dimensions
Measurement of table without extension leaves. Add additional 12" to width for each leaf. Size of one armchair is: 23"W x 34"H x 22"D.
