Antique Waterbury Mantel Clock

Item Details

A circa 1900 antique Waterbury ‘Wanderer’ mantel clock. It has a pointed top, and circular windows over the face and pendulum, which are joined in a single hinged door with carved leaf designs. A brass pendulum depicting the god Mercury in relief is included. A winding key is not included, and for this reason the clock could not be fully tested at the time of cataloging; however, it does strike when the hands are moved manually.

Condition

- minor wear and discoloration consistent with age; winding key missing, working condition not fully tested.
