Cast Metal Eagle Bookends

Item Details

A set of cast metal eagle bookends. Featured are two imposing eagles with wings spread, having a stars and stripes shield at breast and ‘E Pluribus Unum’ banner in beak. The eagles clutch a bundle of arrows and an olive branch within their talons in the manner of the Great Seal of the United States. The bookends have an antiqued brass tone finish with green felted bases. Unsigned by maker.

Condition

- there is some finish loss and corrosion to one bookend beneath eagle.
