Vintage Quartet of Carved A. Brandt Ranch Oak Cactus Chairs

Item Details

A collection of four ranch oak chairs by the A. Brandt Company of Texas. A. Brandt produced ranch oak furniture from 1930-1970. These chairs are unique in their style with cacti carved in high relief on their dovetail shape backrests. The seats are done in the ‘thigh mold’ style and are suitably comfortable. The white you see in the wood is a white wax, common to all ranch oak pieces. These chairs date to approximately the early 1940s and are in good condition, with wear consistent with age and normal use.

Condition

Any wear present is completely consistent with the age and normal use of the items.
