Women's Vintage 14K Gold Hamilton Watch in Case

A woman’s vintage Hamilton Watch Company wristwatch with a 14K yellow gold case. The watch has an oval case with square ends and is secured with a black waxed braided double cord, each end having a gold fitting clasp. It has a raised crystal and gold-toned Arabic numerals to the face. It is marked to the underside, ‘Helen Redmond, Cincinnati, 14K Gold’. It is presented in its original case, having a sapphire blue velvet lining with beige sateen and a carved, ivory-colored celluloid housing with a hinged lid and the maker’s name to the inner lining and top of the case. The movement is ‘Hamilton, USA’ and marked ‘17 Jewels, N120970/721’. The interior of the watch case is marked ‘14K Lancaster, PA, #1292797’.

Condition
- not presently working. The interior has no signs of corrosion or dust. In really good shape; case is slightly darkened from age; watch looks rarely worn. A few ink-link spots to inside case and lining.
