Vintage Automatic Electric 40 Monophone Telephone

Item Details

A vintage AE 40 Monophone model telephone by Automatic Electric, circa 1950s. The phone features a black Bakelite handset; the rotary dial features red numbers and black letters. The AE 40 model made a cameo appearance in the 1999 film “The Matrix”. There is a worn Monophone label at the bottom of the phone which is mostly illegible. The phone is untested.
