Large Bybee Pottery Bowl with Flower Design
Item Details
A large Bybee pottery bowl with flower design. Bybee pottery was founded in 1809 by the Cornelison family in Madison County, Kentucky. It is considered to be the oldest pottery operation in the U.S. west of the Appalachian mountains. The white bowl features two small side handles and a red three flower design in the center bottom of the bowl. The bottom of the bowl is marked ‘1B.’
