Item Details
A circa early 19th century musket from the Middle East or North Africa. It features beautiful inlaid geometric designs in bone to the stock and to the wood on the underside of the barrel. It has a caplock mechanism and chased brass barrel banding, and a brass trigger guard. The stock has an interesting upward-curved shape. The barrel is unrifled and is 38.5’ long.
Condition
- the trigger is missing. Otherwise only cosmetic damage consistent with age, including metal and wood discoloration, cracks to the wood, and a few small piece of inlay missing.
