Ancient Lost Lake Spear Point

Item Details

An ancient Lost Lake era spear point, made of chert. The Lost Lake area covered the mid-west and south, including Mississippi, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and down to Florida. The point was made during the Archaic period, around 9000-6000 years BCE. This rare point has been resharpened in the distant past.

Condition

Corner notches are broken from the reshaping.
