1930s Walt Disney Mickey and Minnie Mouse Sand Toy And Figurine

A pair of early delightful and enduring Walt Disney Mickey Mouse collectibles highlights this lot. There is a sand sifter metal toy with shovel that is marked on it side ‘Walt Disney Enterprises. Sand toy is also marked ’Ohio Art Co., Bryan, Ohio’ and it depicts early Disney cartoon characters around its rim. The original metal handle is firmly attacked and colors are rich and bold from this 1930s classic toy. Finally, there is a small bisque 1930s Minnie Mouse painted figurine. Minnie is holding a guitar and reads ‘Made In Japan’ on its backside. Paint on the figurine is in good condition.
Condition
- original wire mesh is still attached to the bottom of this sand toy. Slight scratches and wear. Figurine has no chips or breaks.
