A Case Elvis Presley Collector’s Knife. W. R. Case & Sons Cutlery, which was started in 1889, produced 2000 of this rare set in 1985, when Elvis would have been 50. This set is number 280 of 2000, with ‘280’ engraved on the nickel plated bolster. The knife is trapper style with two blades and bone scales. Both blades are gold plated and one features the likeness of ‘The King’ himself. Both blades are engraved, one reading ‘Elvis The King Of Rock ’N Roll’, while the other reads ‘50 Golden Years Jan. 8, 1935 – Jan. 8, 1985’. The knife is still in its original paperboard box that has two brass plates inset into the interior. The top of the box reads ‘Elvis Presley 1935-1985 50 Golden Years Case Limited Edition 1 of 2000’.
