Case Collectors Series Crazy Horse Knife

A Case collector’s series Chief Crazy Horse pocket knife. The W. R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company began making knives in 1889, and made a limited edition of 500 of the Chief Crazy Horse knife in 1984. This particular knife is 59 of 500, with ‘059’ stamped on the front, nickel plated bolster. This is a trapper style knife with two blades, one of which features an image of Chief Crazy Horse and the words ‘Chief Crazy Horse 1844-1877’. The natural bone scales sit on a brass liner. The knife sits in a faux gator skin case. Inset into the lining of the case is a brass plate which reads ‘Chief Crazy Horse 1844-1877 Case Collectors Series One of 500’. The tang of the main blade is marked ‘Case XX USA’.
