A vintage offset lithograph of The Miracle of St. Mark Freeing the Slave by Venetian born artist Jacopo Tintoretto (1518-1594), the original painting from 1548. Tintoretto was born Jacopo Comin, he later changed his name to Tintoretto, meaning ‘little dyer’ or ‘dyers boy’. This work is framed under glass, double matted in dark brown and chocolate brown, a gold gilt, gesso over wood frame, wire hanger on the back.

Condition

Frame has a chip off gesso missing on the lower left corner.
