Pair of Large Glass Insulators
Item Details
A pair of large glass insulators. One threaded insulator, a CD 239, is marked Kimble and was made by Hemingray, and is a slightly tinted clear model. Its large, bell shape body and saddle type top indicate it insulated medium voltage. The base has minor ridging. An ice blue Whitall Tatum Company No. 10 insulator also features a saddle type top and threaded interior. This insulator has a smooth base. Both of these pieces are highly collectible and are in wonderful condition.
Condition
Pieces have been used, with dirt and wear evident throughout the pieces. The Kimble insulator has sticker residue to the outside that can be relieved with minor cleaning.
