An original watercolor painting by American artist Tom Dusterberg, dated 2005, depicting the famous Parisian monument, the Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile. The Arc de Triomphe honors those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I. The painting is signed by the artist in pencil to the lower left. The painting is mounted behind cream mat, under glass, in a brushed metal frame with a gold tone finish.
