A reproduction piece of an ancient Colombian Quimbaya figurine. The figure features a face embossed to the top of the piece with circular decoration throughout. ‘Colombia’ appears in gold text under the piece, encased in a fused lucite type case. The original ancient piece is located in the Gold Museum of the Bank of the Republic in Bogota, Colombia, as indicated by the reverse of the piece. An informational paragraph is located to the reverse in Spanish, English, and French. Produced by the company Indurragjes in Medellin, Colombia, reproduced by Colombian goldsmiths. Includes the original black box with which the piece was purchased.

Condition

Box shows wear, with sticker residue and worn black ink to the corners and folds in material.
