Pair of Magnolia Prints by Christoph Jacob Trew
Item Details
A pair of magnolia prints by Christoph Jacob Trew. Both of these offset lithographs are taken from his series ‘Plantae Selectae,’ published in 1750, in which he illustrated herbal and medicinal plants. The prints are titled Magnolia No. 62 and Magnolia No. 33. Both feature Latin descriptions of the flowers on the bottom of the print. They are matted, under glass, and framed.
Condition
Some scratches on the frames.
