A trio of original vintage oil paintings on canvas. Included is a work depicting a woman wearing a blue gown and holding a baby. This piece is marked ‘Ardin (Toni & son) (Mrs. James H. Smith)’ to the verso. Also included in the collection is a work depicting four people playing in a river with trees in the background. It is signed and dated ‘Agnes Shook Smith 1955’ to the lower right corner. The final work depicts a woman kneeling by a birdbath in a garden. A bridge leads to a partially visible cottage in the distance. This piece is also signed and dated ‘Agnes Shook Smith 1955’. On the back is a label that provides the artist and artist’s address and the title Youth.

Condition

The paintings are starting to come away from the wooden framing and there is some damage to the paintings. The backs look dinged up.
