Andrew Carson "Zephyr Top" Kinetic Sculpture

An excellent Kinetic sculpture in art glass, stainless steel, and patinated steel by well know modern artist Andrew Carson (Seattle, Washington, 20th, 21st Century). The piece, titled ‘Zephyr Top,’ was hand crafted by Carson, of hand blown and molded glass cups, hand cut and brushed steel, with patinated steel fins and pole. The piece bears a marker with his name, as well. Well known for his beautiful and whimsical sculpture, the piece has the effect of a very large whirligig, seemingly with randomly placed elements, though the design is well conceived, planned and executed. A delightful piece for the cultivated garden, includes an installation and care manual. It is believed that all pieces are present, including the pipe which must be cemented in the ground for the piece to be securely anchored. Appears to have not been installed and well-cared for.
Condition
A few little rough spots on a few pieces of glass, overall in fine condition.
Dimensions
The “whirligig” section of the sculpture is 32" diameter x 39" tall, the pole is 7 feet tall.
