Vintage Hand-Painted Cavalier Cedar Chest

A vintage hand-painted Cavalier cedar chest. This beautiful piece is hand-painted all over its exterior in black, red, blue, green and tan. It features a large storage area under the lid with copper hardware over two drawers. The lid is painted with floral panels and a tulip border. The front is painted with three arched panels depicting horses and horsemen with birds, and more tulips decorate the drawers.

Condition

Consistent with age. Strips of wood are missing at the base and on the right drawer.
