22kt Golden Replicas of US Stamps and First Day Issues

A binder issued by the Postal Commemorative Society contains ‘Golden Replicas of United States Stamps.’ Inside are plastic binder pockets containing a certificate of membership and nine First Day of Issue stamps on envelopes, each containing a 22kt gold replica of that particular stamp. This collection is of stamps from the year 1995 which includes the Christmas Madonna and Child, the US Naval Academy 150th Anniversary, American Playwright Tennessee Williams, the 200th Anniversary of the Birthday of James K. Polk, and five stamps from the Antique Automobiles series. Each stamp includes a card with the description of the stamp and its heritage. Also in the collection are twenty four, first day issue stamps on envelopes.
