An 18th century Thomas Budgen grandfather clock featuring a gold toned eagle topper, and Corinthean colums flanking the intricate brass clock face. The clock keeps hours, minutes, and seconds on a second smaller dial located at near the top of the clock. The face of the clock features the name Thomas Budgen and around the 6 it reads Croy: :Don. Budgen lived and worked in Croydon, Surrey, England. The winding key is included as well as a small key to lock the front door, behind which is concealed the weights and metronome.
