The apron and the arms show the natural wood while the rest of the chair is finished in black with gilt accents. The chair is marked on the back in gold. The other chair is of a similar style with a natural wood seat with black and gilt accents surrounding the other surfaces. The high back chair is decorated with delicate floral designs, also in gold. The chair is unmarked.
