A signed original watercolor by artist Alfred Juergens (1866-1934). Alfred Juergens was born in Chicago, and studied at the Chicago Academy of Design, and also in Munich, Germany, under Kochler and Wilhelm von Diez, at the Munich Royal Academy. This watercolor is of a sun setting over a lake, with the reflection of the sun in the water, which is surrounded by foliage and trees. The painting is double matted, with a gold and mottled green frame, and is under glass. Stand not included.
