Antique St. Johns Table Company Maple Hutch
Item Details
An antique St. Johns Table Company maple hutch. This American made furniture company ran out of Cadillac, Michigan from around 1907-1928. They made limited edition furniture and marked each piece with their seal. This hutch has a scalloped top lip hanging from a beveled edge. The first shelf is balconied at the sides while the shelf below not only protrudes farther outward but has three drawers as well. Behind these shelves is a vertical paneled backdrop. The base is made up of a row of four central drawers, the topmost of which has a four divided compartment interior. Flanking these are cabinet doors with magnetic closures and a single interior shelf. The piece is lifted on four solid feet and has an old amber finish. Marked on the back and inside a drawer by the maker.
