Towle Silver Plate Tea and Coffee Service
Item Details
A Towle silver plate tea and coffee service. The footed, oval platter features scrolling and floral designs to the rim and handles with scrolling detail to the center. The tea service comes with a coffee pot, teapot, sugar, and creamer. All items stand on decorative cabriole legs and feature a ribbed bulbous body that narrows. The handles are scrolled and the lids on the coffee and teapot are hinged, while the lid on the sugar cup can come completely off. The platter is marked to the underside, ‘Towle. Silver Plate.’
Condition
- one foot is broken off. The piece is in the creamer.
