A vintage stein by Villeroy & Boch and Mettlach, circa 1976. The stein is part of a limited edition and features Mettlach, Germany. There is a banner in German roughly translating to ‘Life without with and love is cloudy’ and ‘But the Mettlach stein quenches your thirst’. The finial on the lid is the Mettlach castle. The bottom is stamped with the Mettlach trademark, the Villeroy & Boch trademark, ‘1976/1’, and ‘0161/3000 Lim. Ed.’
